Role of Data and Decision Analytics in Global Operations

Experience a full line up of innovative sessions, educational workshops, award-winning speakers, merited recognition, informative exhibitors and, of course, many opportunities for networking. Keynotes offered by Professor David Simchi-Levi and a mystery speaker/entertainer.

This year a plant tour of the Amcor facilities is being offered on Friday, November 16 from 10 am - 3 pm.

Amcor Flexibles Mundelein, produces high-quality flexible packaging for the medical industry- their products are helping save lives every day! Their facility has over 40 pieces of equipment including blown-film extruders, slitting, and bag & pouch machines, which operate 24 hours a day in a safe and clean environment.

Participants will board a minibus at 10 am and return to the hotel at 3 pm. Tour time will last approximately 1 1/2 hours with travel time to/from the hotel at 1 1/2 hours each way. It is suggested that participants bring a bag lunch for the bus ride.

Tour is free but limited to 24 participants - first come, first serve. You must register to participate in the tour. To register email info@decisionsciences.org with subject line: AMCOR Plant Tour. Only one registration per email.

Time

Sessions begin 8 am Saturday, November 17 and run through Monday, November 19. The Welcome Reception will take place 6 - 7 pm Saturday, November 17. The Presidents Reception and Awards Banquet will be held 6 - 9 pm Sunday, November 18. The Annual Conference Luncheon hosted by the Fellows will be held 11:30 am Monday, November 19.

It is the third-largest hotel in Chicago by number of guest rooms; however, it has the largest total meeting and event space of any Chicago hotel. The hotel has housed every president of the United States since its opening in 1927.

Hilton Chicago is in walking distance of Solider Field’s games and concerts and the Pilsen neighborhood’s bar and restaurant scene. Hop on the ‘L’ to Chinatown or simply absorb the arts featured in Wabash Arts Corridor. Enjoy a soulful evening at Buddy Guy’s Legends.

Registration includes Saturday Welcome Reception, Sunday President's Reception and Awards Banquet and Monday Fellows Luncheon. Additional guest tickets may be purchased at checkout.

All attendees of the DSI Annual Conference must be current DSI members. If you are a current member, the system will recognize your email address and allow you to register. If you are not a current member, you must either renew or join as a new member before you can complete the registration process.

To RENEW a recently expired membership, log into your account by clicking on Member Login on the DSI website home page. You will find an invoice in your Account tab under My Info. You can pay directly from the invoice. If this is your first time logging into our new GrowthZone system, do not enter a user name or password. Instead click on Create an Account and follow the prompts.
